Food Network Star

Peanut butter!

Trust me, I'm not usually full of such good news, but today brought another good thing!
My grandma (who used to be an actor back in the day...not quite famous, but oh well...she's famous to me!) offered to make pb and j her way on camera for me!
It was like a dream come true.
And I don't just mean as far as the documentary goes.
When I was little, I would sit in my grandmother's kitchen and watch her cook. To help pass the time, she would often explain to me what she was doing, like she was a food network star or something. I would pretend to hold the camera, and call when it was time for the commerical break.
Letting her help me with this project was like furfilling a childhood dream.
Sure it wasn't perfect...but two takes, a loud speaker announcement interuption, three hours of editing, 45 minutes of rendering and one six minute video later...
I had offically finished a tiny part of my documentary!
It was the best feeling in the world.
I just hope things continue to go so well (*crosses fingers*, I wouldn't want to jinx it!)
I emailed another women about another blog entry having to do with pb and j...this one actually had some information pertaining to when pb and j was first created! I'm still waiting for her email back about permission.
And of course, the publicity director from Peanut Butter Co has remained silent thus far. It makes me wonder if she even read my email. I mean, sure, she's probably a busy lady, and she probably gets hundreds of emails a day...but still? How long does it take to write one small note?
However, I'm going to be fair. I'll give her a week before I give up all hope. 7 business days.
Until next time my sticky friends, bread and butter.

Judy
